I absolutely LOVE the "wacky" design. It's their loss if they don't use that one. Maybe you can sell a similar design to someone else down the road.

Well, EGG-zackly! I've never heard it put that way, but you're right - Time *itself* is it's own vampire. It feeds like a black hole draining more time from the surrounding time until its all collapsed out. Eventually even time itself cannot escape this powerful, exponential phenomenom.

I grew up in Holstein, IA but remember as a kid always going through Everly and seeing the welcome sign that mentioned the girls state titles. I think it is wonderful that you have started the site for the cattlefeeders/ettes to keep a little piece of history going. I recently saw the 6-on-6 girls basketball documentary on IPTV. Wonderful! Keep up the good work.

Enjoyed your 'review' of Everly's celebration. My dad is from Everly (and I visited as a child) so my folks and I did a special roadtrip from California just for the party. (MY Aunt & Uncle still live there and were on the planning committee...they looked like walking zombies by Sunday afternoon;) Dad is Dallas Johnson and though a few years younger than your parents, he remembers them:)

This is helpful, but I have a long way to go. I`m trying to master the German model so I`ve been asking every hausfrau that I meet for tips. I`m not sure how much more gay I can be but the fact that my hair ribbon clashes with my lederhosen is not very gay at all. I`ll keep trying.

oh, pleeeease... how ironic that when a non-Republican stands up for her/himself and fights back against the GOP bullshit, y'all call it "hateful". Ha! What a bunch of babies!!! You wanna talk about hateful? Look in the GOP mirror!!! (Rush Limbaugh? Karl Rove? Dickhead Cheney? George W. Asshole? etc . etc. etc. etc.) The whole Republican platform is based on hate and lies and smearing people for being "intellectuals" (apparently a dirty word in the bizarro GOP world) and just stinky bullshit in general. YOU are the people that need to grow up!!! (and perhaps y'all could grow some brains while you're at it) The past 8-9 years have been beyond shameful, dude, and have helped me to understand how civil wars happen. I'm just so thankful that the Dems have finally grown a pair of collective balls and are NOT putting up with the GOP's delusional line of crap anymore.
